# Comax overview

> For stores on Comax: XFaster connects to Comax itself.

Comax answers requests but never calls other systems, so XFaster connects to the store's Comax the way online shops do. **Nothing has to be built on the Comax side.**

| Comax → XFaster | Prices, sale prices and stock, pulled every 10 minutes (only what changed) plus a full pull every night at 03:30 |
| XFaster → Comax | Optional: every order the store accepts is written into Comax as a customer order |

  When the connection is switched on, Comax becomes the source of truth for that store's prices and stock in XFaster.
