# Prices and stock

> How XFaster reads the store's Comax.

* **Comax operations:** `Get_AllItemsPricesBySearch` and `Get_AllItemsBalanceBySearch` (SOAP 1.1) with `ChangesAfter`, so each pull reads only what changed.
* **Matching:** by the Comax item code once it is mapped, otherwise by barcode (leading zeros ignored).
* **Unknown items:** Comax items XFaster doesn't have are listed for the store. They are never created by themselves.
* **Stock mode:** real quantities, or just on/off (in stock or not). Weighed products only switch on and off, because Comax prices them per kg.
* **Sale prices:** a running Comax sale becomes the product's sale price in XFaster.
* **Off with an end time:** a product the store switched off until a certain time stays off.
