# Market setup

> Barcodes first, then a nightly sync.

  <Step title="Fill in barcodes">
    Read the catalog ([Get the catalog](/market/products/menu)) and send barcodes for the products that have none ([Barcodes & codes](/market/products/mapping)). A barcode belongs to one product of the store.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sync">
    Send changes as they happen ([Update by barcode](/market/products/by-barcode)), plus one full price and stock sync a night ([Bulk price & stock](/market/products/batch): 100 lines per call, 6,000 products in about a minute).
  </Step>

  <Step title="New products">
    A product XFaster doesn't have yet: [Add a new product](/market/products/create). It is created switched off until the store adds a picture.

## Sale prices

`sale_price` is the shelf promotion ("מבצע"), below `price`. The app shows it with the regular price crossed out. `null` ends it. Multi-buy deals ("3 for ₪20") are built in XFaster.
